Caleb Ranum

Caleb Ranum is a Master’s student in the Anthropology Department at the University of Alabama. Raised in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Caleb graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in 2017 with degrees in Biology and Anthropology. He spent the last two years teaching conversational English at a school in Rimaska Sobota, Slovakia. He is broadly interested in Paleoethnobotany and what subsistence patterns, specifically those related to plants, can reveal about past human populations. He is still developing his Master’s thesis.
