Patricia Mathu

Patricia Mathu is a MA student in the Anthropology Department at the University of Alabama. She is passionate about how archaeology can inform understandings of food systems and climate change. While pursuing her BA in history, she started a regenerative farm with friends in Illinois and worked for multiple organizations transforming US agriculture. Guided by thoughtful mentors, she has a keen interest in agroecology, domestication, paleobotany, and Midwestern landscapes. ​
